I fought with that rear end to make it work. All rusted and locked up. Their are smaller diameter tubes bolted under the seat with the springs around them that ride internally in the larger down tube.

I have never seen a rear suspension setup like that but it looks good and I like it a lot.

the straight fork and handlebar style makes it early 70s or older.

your bike is very similar to my 1968 Arco Colt but there are some differences between them like the engine plate and the rear axle mounts.
