Bad Coil?

Will a bad coil cause an engine to start and shut immeditly off, the carb is way clean

Is it a gx200 or predator? Unplug the oil sensor if you haven't already.

No but there is plenty of oil in the engine, will it still cause problems.

I'm with minibikin..I would unplug the kill switch and the oil level sensor and see if it runs.

A bad or dirty/plugged air filter will cause the same issue, or if you have a crack in the black insulator for the carb, also make sure all the carb gaskets are good and on the correct way.
