Wow! I know lots of tricks for truing high speed forks but wouldn't even know where to start on those. That had to sting!

Man, that pic is priceless...it's the combination of the bent forks AND the stomped-on footbrake lever...the rider must have realized he was about to go tits up and slaaaaaaaammed on the brake...to no avail.

Thats fixable! Just get out the torch, heat em up and straighten them out. Thats what my dad did to mine when I was a kid.

Wasn't hard to fix with another set of forks. Now the good forks are hanging on the wall and it runs a set of Azusa forks so I can let kids ride it without worry:

I think these are the smashed forks after straightening. If you look at the pic with my nephew on it you can see that they are actually bent out some now.

They look much better in pictures. It's another beater I picked up at the swap meet and threw together for kids to ride. It's actaully really cool how they lowered the seat height. That and a 2 hp Briggs with throttle limited is great to learn on.

It's the bike my neice was riding in the videos I posted the other day. She's much younger here and has since moved up to bigger, faster bikes.
