Spend money!
Ungovern that pig with a new billet flywheel and rod, throw a cam in it, header, rejet carb...probably do it less than $300...will run good and strong, cruise all day long

I swear, I shoulda been a poet!

If you want to cruise fast,
Billet is needed.
Ungovern that motor,
The warnings I read-ed.

Drop in a cam,
Maybe a mamba from Isky?
Buying from him
Is never risky.

A new carb will help
Mix the air and the fuel.
Add an open exhaust,
And the streets you will rule.

I hope you have pockets
That are deep like the sea.
Going real fast
Can be pretty spendy.

Word to your mother.

How detailed are needing?
Billet rod (10 or 20 over)
Black mamba cam (not the junior)
Flattop piston from Honda
Billet flywheel from ARC (or pvl type)
Bored carb or 22 mikuni
Candy cane header with muffler
Upgraded valve train (stainless valves and pushrods)
26lb springs
14cc head
Pull the gov out
This should get you close to 8000 RPMs.

I agree with this.
However the Honda 68mm Flat top will not fit the new loncin 70mm bore.
ARC racing has some pistons that are flat and fit this bore with a stock wrist pin.

You do well keeping the compression under 11:1 for a street aplication.
I like to have a tight quench on these engines with closed chamber heads.
I prefered the 14 for many years because although it was restrictive it made great torque and let you run high compression with pump gas.
Things have changed and these new larger engines would be better suited in my opinion with the 18cc milled if desired but I think as built they will be fine for a 10.5:1 compression.
So too get all that I would run the rod that gets you closest to zero deck and run the right thickness of gasket for about .030 clearence.

I would not use ratio rockers because you wanted a big valve head.
With the momba grind I do not think you need more lift.

Since you have predator already maybe you have a big valve head now.

Measure the vlaves.....

If they are 27/25 then I would just get it milled.

PZ22 on ebay uses thesame jet block as a Briggs Animal so its easier to get what you need for tuning at a kart shop.

This is a used Animal carb, maybe you can get one from a kart shop?
Original Walbro PZ 22 Kart Carburetor Briggs AMP Stratton 555658 | eBay
The Chinese 125cc bikes use this carb also.
Anyplace that sells or fixes them will have clone carbs for less than a Briggs dealer.

This is also a PZ22 but it looks different.
Internaly it uses the same jets as the other carb I posted a link too and it uses the same intake.
More common on Chinese bikes too.
Recently I saw a new verskion of this with an excellerator pump.
This new carb might be even better on a mini than the other two.

At this point it would be really nice to know what kid of bike too.....

TAVs on minibikes.
You can make weaker engine run faster out of the hole than a more powerful engine geared higher.
If you work at it its not hard at all to make a weaker TAV bike outperform a more modified clutch bike.
A lot depends on the riders though and how well both bikes are set up.
Over all Cruising bike you enjoy riding will be a TAV bike ( of Sals 340 )

Don't ask too much of it maybe 12 hp but thats a lot in a mini when you think about it.
And a 12 - 15 HP clone can be made very strong and reliable for not a lot of money.

I have a stage 1 modded 212. Jet/emulsion tube (37) longer exhaust with mullfer, 26lb springs. It is governed, but new engine revs to 3800 RPMS. I have a knock-off TAV with a 41 chain. 10T sprocket in front and 48 in rear.

This thing will wheelie me at like 20 MPH! Get the TAV. Stock 212 is like 6.5hp. The clutch would slip and the engine would shake with me on it and a 54 gear in rear.

That said, I also have another bike that has a hemi headed 212 on it with old clutch with 54 rear sprocket and it flys!! So you need a lot of hp if you are ginna run a clutch.

Im 230 lbs.
