I have found for some reason, odd numbers of teeth on the jackshaft do not wear the sprockets out as fast, and they seem to ride smoother and quieter. Even numbers rumble.
You have rupp continental shocks on your bonanza. Notice the difference in the circled areas. Rupp shocks don’t have a flat for the bolt area and the bottom of the tube is tapered on the bonanza shocks. The rupp shocks are longer.
