Caper Cycle Restoration

Hello All,

Technically, this is my first mini restoration with the guidance of Scooterboy. The frame prep, welding, and plating was completed by Scooter. The restored Westbend 580 was purchased from Frank Moore. Currently, I waiting for the break shoes to be completed to complete the assembly.

Thanks for the suggestion. I believe that you have to start the build this year to be eligible? This one i started October. I will be starting a Ruttman Toad that I could enter???

Hey Scott.... Here's some more pics during the resto work

Engine plate before and after I welded up the holes

Front fork after I removed the lower legs and springs for bead blast and plating of the springs and legs... Then a picture after re-assembly.

Here is a "group photo" of all the parts that I had plated, including the hub / sprocket after I cut the old sprocket off and welded on the new laser cut sprocket.

Here is a shot of the tank mount that I fabbed and installed .....
