Cheap Honda Gas Tanks

So I found these and was wondering if they would fit on the HF clones that have the (to some) undesireable 'L' shaped tank....They are new, unused, off of Hondas.

no they won't the new clones have different mounts for the tanks. the older style clones are the same as honda .

I agree but I also disagree with you guys... the old style tank will line up with the front bolt (single bolt near the exhaust) and for the other two bolts you can either make some L brackets and bolt them to the tank and then the block or take the stock bracket off the L shaped tank and wire weld it to the new tank.

It's not a direct bolt on as said above but with just a little work it can be made to fit.....

Personally I like the looks of the newer style block better without the tank over the Honda (older style) because they don't have the big brackets sticking up off the block and the side covers look cooler also...
