what are your thoughts on a long intake it will be about 12 inches to position the carb on the front side of the engine 212 hemi

I tried something of the same with a stock carb, wasn't really worth the trouble... But instead of putting it as a manifold be hind te carb, I put it going to the car, sort of set up as a cold air, but a ram air aswell.. I may try again with a mikuni 22mm so I can see if I can get the fuel air ratio right to make it work

On my bike I have a similar above described air intake. a custom adapter for the air filter that is about 12" from the carb. I did have to re jet accordingly, I don't remember the equilivalent as I drilled it oversize.
