you can make the ramp as low as the top of the piston ring. From the picture it looks like that's what you did. You did a nice job on it, it looks good. What else do you plan to do to it ?

That is a fresh bore with alot of oil in the cylinder. The block went .010 over, I put in a Raptor 2 rod and just cleaned up the ports. Next build will be an IC motor with all of the goodies. I can't see going 60mph on a Boonie.

I used a burr bit in a battery drill for the rough cut then a small sandpaper roll on the same drill. Then hand sanded and polished the rest.

Beings how I like to learn about what others do to their engines,what is accomplished by doing what you did? I'm sure it has something to do with getting a little more performance or hp out of it? I've never worked on small engines,so that's why I ask. Thanks.
