I just installed my 212 Predator on my Doodle bug but have run into a problem with the throttle cable. I have a standard doodle bug throttle cable and the exposed cable is about 4" long. I installed the OldMiniBikes Predator Throttle Kit and installed it but the brass grommet was missing. Once everything was installed it looks like I need about 8" of exposed cable for the throttle cable work properly. Do I need to purchase a new throttle cable or is there a way to modify my current cable to make it work? The instructions that came with the kit left much to be desired.
I called OldMiniBikes Warehouse and they are sending the brass grommet, so I am not sure if there something that I am missing that will explain it.
