Early Bonanza Find??

This seems to be an early Bonanza... Anybody have any info on this? The badge has a different font and check out the forks.

Wow that seems early, I'll look through some mid 60's Karting mags I have and compare the font. Nice to see your posting. Is that a Chrysler 2 stroke?

The badge probably says bonanza kart Manufacturer or something along that line. they built karts before minis. Yes that's an early one. This article is from '63

My buddy has one of those.

Does one of the rear fender tabs have an extra hole? One side of his has 3 holes in an extended fender tab. I think it's on the right side of the frame.

The fender mounts are different from other Bonanza's... They are more square rather than ovalish and bolt holes are closer together... The badge trips me out with that font and little lightning bolt thing underneath. The foot pegs are slightly different as well.

Look a little closer. I see footpegs. Just tubing welded onto the front

It's not tubing, it's 5/8" solid bar with a 1/4" hole to attach the fold up footpegs. Later, the bikes got footpegs. In the article it didn't have any yet.

As for the old bonanza emblem, I wish they kept that style,, much better.
