yes, if you had the sprocket mount at the same point as the swingarm, you would not need a chain tensioner,but of course that bike is little different and makes it little harder to set it up like that. has you can see in my build i use a skate board wheel and just machine it down little and machine a groove in the middle to help guide the chain. wheel wears like iron and makes the chain much quieter then using a sprocket idler...:thumbsup:

Hello, it's been a while and changed a few things. One thing was to move the center of the swing arm in-line with the front small sprocket on the driven and with the center of the rear large sprocket on the rear wheel.
Upgraded the engine to the predator 212 hemi. Got the Autolite racing plugs 3910X. the updated or newer air filter adapter. Also the 1/2 top plate for throttle...and various other things.
Still trying various exhaust setups and also have a few different main jets as well as (idle) jets
One thing I'd love to do is add a rear disc brake setup (currently have the drum brakes). Is this possible, or require to get a whole different rim/hub?
