Get some wheels, engine and the rest of the parts to start rebuilding it.

Suggestion:

Get on ebay, spend the bucks for the right wheels and shocks. Find an edger with a running 3hp Briggs for about $20 and have a nice Taco to restore.

Did you ID the frame yet ?

No I still don't know the actual model. It's a series two because of the flat swing arm but I would like to know what engine I should be looking for. I have an old 5 hp B/S from the go kart that I could razdo up a bit if that would keep it original. It has the original seat but the cover is brittle and NG.

Any input is appreciated.

Wouldn't the serial number on a Taco tell you the year and model??

Its on the lower tube behind the engine pan.Here's a pix of were to look on your bike.

OK did the search and it looks like a 1967 Taco 44 run number 3086. Love this site and thanks for all the help.
