i cant ever go riding without something messing up on my mini and have to be pulled home. and its always like the tire the chain the bearings throttle cable pull start cord. im just tired of it breaking down. anybody on the forum have problems like mine or am i the only one.
That's the nature of the beast. We (my wife, my 13 year old daughter, and I) rode today, probably put in somewhere around 25-30 miles (roughly 2 1/2 hours), and on the last leg of the ride I broke the clutch-to-jackshaft chain on my Warrior mini bike. Luckily it was just a #41 half-link (a.k.a. "off-set link"), and I have a handlebar bag full of tools and chain parts so I fixed it where it sat (about 4 miles from the truck).
Last week my daughter knocked the chain off her DB30, so I had to loosen the chain tensioner and remove the rear chain guard to roll the chain back on.
Oh yeah, a couple of months ago she ran over a spike nail which punctured both the middle of the tread as well as the sidewall of the tire (ruining it). :doah:
Ran outta gas one time a couple of miles from where I park my truck, so I hid my bike in some tall weeds and brush, doubled with my wife on her Warrior back to the truck, loaded my wife's and daughter's bikes then drove to where I had hidden my bike (I now take an extra jug of gas with us).
Yeah, they can be a pain in the :asshole:, but it's still better than watchin' TV....
