You're on the game show Let's Make a Deal. You make it to the final round where you're presented with 3 doors. Behind one of the doors is a car, behind the other 2 is a goat.

You pick a door, & Monty Hall opens one of the other 2, revealing a goat. He then gives you the option to keep your door, or trade for the other remaining one.

Should you keep your door, trade your door, or it makes no difference?

This is not a trick question... a door is behind a door, etc. It's just as straightforward as it seems.

I know:clap:, Iknow:clap: At first you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting the car. 33.3%. one door is eliminated with a goat in it, you would think you now have a 50 50 chance but if you switch you actually have a 67% chance. Switch Switch Switch:hammer:

This is correct :drinkup:

Much as it may seem to go against common sense, you should always switch. The laws of probability were set when the problem was presented, & do not change as it unfolds.
