ok so my dad just got a Bonanza that hes restoring and then got some POS that we dont know what it is but he is making a rat-rod out of it and talked me into building one. so now i stopped racing my Remote control cars and just bought a remake of a Frijole. it was a custom made frame that was made very nice super legit and got it for a great deal. the guy who i bought it from has like 3 more if anyone is interested. but yeah im going to be making it a Rat-Rod also and going to leave it all rusty and just slam in a alchy 5 flat head. going to try to purchase a used race motor from a gokart. i dont mind rebuilding one. so for now i just have the frame. i need to mount a motor plate. buy wheels and tires. get a clutch. motor. serape for the seat :D throttle. and so on but untill then here are some pics of the hopefully soon too be beast. it may take a while for updates because i have barley been working lately but if it comes too it i can sell my RC Car stuff.:sadcrying4:

:doah: lol jk thanks man. i made the seat and im going to go buy a serape tomorrow! haha and should be getting a blue printed gokart briggs sooner then i thought looks like im selling my remote control car stuff alot faster then planned =]

Rat er' out !!! Looks like you could easily make it a "soft tail " the way the frame angles down where that T bracket is now...something to think about. More power to ya!!! Go alky!!:hammer:

ill get pics of my dads soon hes also building a rat. were building them to take to the Moon eyes Christmas BBQ over at Irwindale Speedway. maybe get some runs out of them on the strip if they allow us.

lol. yeah i have a local guy who has about 4 more he is selling. he makes them. all brand new just rusty from sitting in his backyard. none come with motor plates though. if anyone is interested in buying one let me know and ill pick it up for you. think he wants $125 each. i got the only one with the scrub brake and foot pegs the other need them made.

ok so its been a while since ive posted in this thread but i finally got things coming along. and here are the pics of how it is today.







i still need to weld on the motor plate. as for the fuel tank. i had my dad make it and hes thinking of making them and selling them for $50. so if you are interested in one PM me and let me know the dimensions.

and here is a pic of the bonanza as it sits today.

i was trying to get a raptor 3 and run it on methanol but i was reading alot of good stuff about the clones. and i picked this up for pretty cheap and its already built up enough. i may be building another rat rod. one thats more ratty, if so that will have a built briggs. :thumbsup:

I think you're expecting too much out of a Frijole style frame. Those frames aren't "double loop" like most other Minibikes. I can picture twisting that thing up with a big motor.

well it wouldnt have to be raptor just an I/C dual beraring sleeved block but realy the clones a low quality its honda thats the best they can take me stock than the clone an make more power fully moded out casuse u cant fully mod a clone out

Work with your dad in the Fire Shop. We talk mini bikes all day long. Your minis look great. Can't wait to get my Duck done. Hopefully before the shop Xmas party.:thumbsup: Marc
