Opinions on Predator Hemi Build

just ordered the stud kits from arc racing for the side cover and head. going to be home friday evening for a bit. going to drop my exhaust, carb, gaskets, and insulator off at my budies so he can port match everything to the heads

figured id post up some photos of what this motor is going on. its an old carters brothers kart that had seen better days. was owned by some younger kids that beat it up and hack somethings together.

out tearing up some snowing back roads

decided to change out the rear sprocket for one that was swap able and ran into some issues to i converted the whole cart to 3 bolt hubs, and installed a longer rear axle.

still waiting to have the motor finished so i can install the spring seat.

Hamm that's a Briggs 5hp isn't it ? Those can be bad ass when build up , and sound awesome turning 9 k . But that kart looks like it will be fun .

thanks guys, it looks a million times better then it did when i purchased it. the motor was a briggs flathead. they are cool but the valve set up isnt ideal. I prefer the ohv motors
