Predator Exhaust

So my stock predator exhaust hits the back of my frame pushing the motor a little further to the front than it should be so I'm looking at aftermarket exhausts that will allow me to move my motor back some. I found the pipe below and my question is, if I install that exhaust will it make my motor run like junk or should it still run fine? I'm not interested in re-jetting it or making any other modifications other than the exhaust. Thanks in advance!

But, don't ya have to rejet and have a high flow air filter or can ya just add the header without any other mods?

It is suggested to do the filter and jet's to get the utmost performance out of the stock motor, but not a necessity if your running a muffler.

If you just do the exhaust and muffler you don't need to rejet, once you open up the intake with a filter then you need to rejet. Vic is correct.

Also the predator's dowel pin is a little wider than the "yellow" clone. So you will have to do some enlarging on the new header.:thumbsup:

I wonder if this header/muffler is quieter than the RLV muffler I now have.

Almost cheap enough to find out.
