Predator head gasket

Predator 212cc

Ok first timer on the site. I just hopped a predator 212cc.
Milled head to the max I think .065 or something. Flat top piston. Arc rod. Biggest cam they make think its the black mamba. 32 mm intake valve. Tilley carb on methanol. Billet flywheel. I blew the original head gasket. I bought a .42 copper one from raceseng. Should I have gotten a different one or will that work

Did you change or mill the guide pins? If not it will not let the head sit flat. And that isn't the biggest cam out for the Predator motor. But it is a good cam for a mild build. Which means your valves are too big for the set-up you are running. A 28mm intake with a 25-26mm exhaust valve is a better match to the cam. As far as the head gasket..it will work. But a factory gasket is .050...so why not check your clearance and run the .016 copper gasket? It will give you a little more gain in compression.
