Spring Fling 2016 April 29 thru May 1st. Deep South Speedway
Always something and about to call it.
Get a call last night. New promoter.
New rules or should I say price.
I have always wanted this as a great chance for folks to get together and share the hobby.
Wanted it to be cheap so everyone could attend.
To my disgust, they now want 40 to ride the track and camp.
If not camping 25 bucks for a pit pass.
And if watching races from the stands, 10 bucks.
I can see where this is going to price half or more of the folks coming.
I am calling them back today and if they won't come off these prices, I am canceling it.
It is not what I intended this event to be. A family that wants to race is going to be priced out to attend.

I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for what you've done for mini bikers in the Southern U.S. You've given me and many others a community that absolutely could not have happened without you. I think it's time for us to take the reigns for a while and give you a break. I hope that while your taste for hosting has gone, your want to attend has not. Thanks again for everything.

Chipper got on the horn and called a place I knew about.
They have agreed to let's us hold the event there.
Friday night free overnight camping.
They are racing go karts and lawnmowers. 5 bucks to watch.
Lighted pits, a/c bathrooms and water and electric hookups.
Saturday all day riding and racing to ourselves, 10. Bucks a head.
If anyone wants a good laugh see the Facebook chitshiw that went on today concerning this event.
It got interesting.:laugh:
So come on out, we just rolling in a different spot.
