Thanks guys. I decided to make a few more covers while I was at it. So I took some pictures of the process before the bending and welding.

First I drilled holes in the two ends. Then I used my angle grinder to finish cutting in between. Finally I cleaned up the edges with a file.

Resurrected. Just came across this thread. Really like what you did with this build. Any updated pics to share?

Few questions:
- I have a set of the same wheels and being tall could benefit from the height you achieved on this build.
- I understand what was done to the front fork/shock install. Did you remove the inner springs or since the fork look like it was pulled out and set a few inches longer during outer shock install they are deemed useless?
- To get the rear of bike set at that height did you simply use a shock with longer distance mount to mount or use longer swing arm also?
- Nice job on this one.
