I had a good time. I forgot to take any pictures sory. I had carb issues with my primary bike that I solved with the help of a frendly neighbor and took to the trails, after 2 or so laps the bike blue a head gasket because the head bolts had worked there way loose. After that I swapped to my backup bike and continued ridding the hole weekend. There was one riskey parade lap late friday , I saw it going and jumped in on the fun ridding all over the property with everyone. It ended just as a massive thunderstorm was barring down on us, thunder in the sky and rain starting as we finished up, I called it The Thunder Run lol. We all took cover just as the rain and wind got bad, the storm hammerd uss then quickly passed. the rest of the weekend was perfect weather. I came home with a bunch of parts and a stock doodlebug mini bike for my co workers son. (he asked me to find a good starter bike for him). I met alot of nice people and had fun as always I'll be back next year If i can.

Diesel Bike? Do pictures exist?

Here is a picture just after @Mariah finished putting it together last year in 2023.

I am trying to recall the name of the utility bike, and will add when I recall it. (same maker as sidewinder)

Edit... it is a Bearkat - not sure of model name. And Bearkat also made a Twister - not sidewinder lol.

Anyway my knowledge of the frame began when @capguncowboy gave it to me a few years back. I had not done anything with it, and @Mariah has done so many nice things for us, I took it up to her on one of our trips , to see if she wanted to do something with it.

She refurbished all the bearings, and serviced the drivetrain, made the engine plate sturdier, then installed that beast of a small engine.

That thing is like a two wheeled tractor ! And is as heavy as one too !

Another great bike built by Mariah.

Someone post up a picture of her riding it in Windber.

It makes me so incredibly happy to read the Bearkat bike being ridden. I'm glad it found a good home. It's a far-cry from what it looked like when I found it all those years ago
