I thought the bearing surface diameter on the PTO side was the same on all the three horse engines, even the ones with roller bearings on the PTO side.

How much are you willing to pay? I have a really, really sweet low hour 3 horse Briggs that's a 3/4'' shaft...

I can chuck the crank up in the lathe & turn the shaft down to 5/8'', mind you, I'd also have to cut a new keyway slot in the shaft as well.
