WTB... Briggs 3hp 3/4" crank that's been turned down to accept a 5/8" clutch

'Cause it has to fit in a minty 3/4" motor, and I want to use a vintage 5/8" clutch.

Things are never easy for me lol

I thought the bearing surface diameter on the PTO side was the same on all the three horse engines, even the ones with roller bearings on the PTO side.

How much are you willing to pay? I have a really, really sweet low hour 3 horse Briggs that's a 3/4'' shaft...

I can chuck the crank up in the lathe & turn the shaft down to 5/8'', mind you, I'd also have to cut a new keyway slot in the shaft as well.

Briggs made 3HP with 5/8 or 3/4 pto crank. I may have one.

yes it all swaps around, as long as you get bearing and bearing, or bushing and bushing... You can just bolt in a 5/8 bore..
