Okay I'am building somewhat of a trail bike and can't run a tav , so I want to run a noran cheater clutch and a jack shaft . My ??? is what would be a good gear ratio for the best power and maybe 50 or so top speed . My power plant is a honda gx 200 with some mods

i have a hawg ty that has a 72 t rear sprocket and 12 t clutch. it has a gear ratio of 6:1 it has great take off but when i ride it offroad i have problems with the chain falling off. i going to add a jackshaft but do not know what ratio to use. i wanted a little lower gearing like 6.5:1.

it seems like im getting mixed results from the gear ratios if i have a 41 tooth sprocket on 61 inch circumference wheel with a 10 tooth sprocket on the tav it say im able to go 90 miles an hour the bike is fast but not that fast any ideas on how fast my stock motor should be albe to go on this...
