This is a mini bike I built for my grandson when he was 2 years old...he is now 13 and into the karts and football!.....The Scat Kitty was built as a modified custom scooter with the vintage motorcycle "Bates" pillion pad for a seat, a fresh (back then) 2hp vintage B&S engine (rope start)...

I bought a skat kitty a little over a year ago and it is all original. I would like to restore one but don't want to destroy the patina of my original. Does anyone have one to sell ? A complete bike would be best, but I would also be willing to start with a project missing pieces. Thanks for any...

I have an old scat cat with the springer seat and fork ill post pic. I was wondering does anywhere sell new aftermarket fork bushings or am gunna have to find old used ones? I believe there just plastic and they go at the top of the springs mine are worn out and the fork binds. :shrug:

My Skat Kitty has the rear drum brake. The brake shoe has very little material left. It probly has enough, but I would prefer like to get it re-lined. Anybody know where I can have this done? I highly doubt I can find a nos 4" brake shoe that fits. If so, I have 2 shoes to get re-lined.

I'm entering this Skat Kitty in the OldMiniBikes 2012 Winter Build off. I believe it's a 1965 "C" series. It has the bolt on jack shaft and drum brake. I "picked" this bike out of a shed where it had spent the last 30 or so years. I'm really looking forward to restoring this bike and having it grace...
