Hello All,
New member here, I'm in the process of converting an old Manco Rustler 3 wheeler into a fat tire bike. I got the rolling frame years ago and hadn't really done anything with it. I had put a 5hp Tecumseh powersport motor on it and putted around the yard and then it sat. Decided...
I read recently in another thread that minibike tires often exceed the size written on the tire. My Trail Bronc has 15.0 x 6.0-6 tire on the front. Does this mean a 145/70-6 knobby might be as tall or taller than the 15.0 x 6.0-6 on my trail Bronc? It seems to be the closest knobby in size to...
OK so I know it's most likely my over torquing of the arc rod bolts, but the engine is in great running condition and as soon as i hit the gas the engine stopped and i went to pull-start it again. After going to pull-start it rotates the rear wheel and crankshaft... I am thinking its because I...
I started on this project awhile ago and posted a couple pictures. Here are some updated photos. The biggest changes will be the creating of a battery box, installation of a real tank, new Speed Racer tire, relocation of the electric starter switch and new front forks to change the look and...
By far the most complicated part of the build so far. had to take the steering stem off the original Baja arrangement and weld it on the replacement triple tree from the Honda XR 75. The diameter and length of the Honda stem was to thin.
Hello,
I am looking for the proper tire sizes for a Ruttman Spyder. I have seen some with the front and rear tire sizes being the same but I am looking for the sizes when the larger diameter rear tire is used. Any help and input is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
BBT
I am just being curious and hoping that someone will chime in to answer this for me.
I seem to remember someone saying that a 22 inch tire wouldn't work on the rear of a SB. I know that a 21 is the correct size but what are the interference points with a 22?
Thanks,
Doug

Hi there.
Looking for a good replacement set of tires that you can buy new that would be a good suitable replacement for the original and very dry rotted Carlisle 4.00-6 block tread tires that came new on my 1971 MTD trailflite mini bike.
If I'm correct, a new modern 4.00-6 tire is not the...
Looking for a 4.00-6 tire. Doesn't matter if it's new or used as long as it's in good shape. Also looking for a matching 4.10/3.50-6 if you have one. Thanks for looking, let me know what you got!
Does anyone have a '72 Prowler or RamRod that could verify that the kickstand on the bottom is correct for 10" tire bikes? The one on the top is off of a 71 Prowler.
Gathering opinions on tire options. We run a 233' loose dirt drag strip (think Street Outlaws for karts in the dirt). Most use old race karts with ATV tires.
For the application I use 13x5-6 Carlisle Xtrac tires, and they grip alright.
Would swapping to a Hoosier or Burris grooved 12x8-6...

Hi everyone. Hope everyone had a great holiday season.
I'm wrapping up my Lawn boy Duraforce Sprocket mini bike build and I have a few questions regarding tires.
My mini uses 6 inch wheels and I'd like to mount the Carlisle 13x5.00-6 Super lug tire to the rear for awesome traction in loose...
