1950s home built go Kart

My friday find ,was told this was built some time in the 1950s . thought i would share ,ejoel

That is a great find, I found a kart frame that was from the late '60s but nothing this cool. Any plans for it? :thumbsup:

local scrap yard . these days nothing is sacred . sad thing the original well to the cart wheels and tires where removed then pitched before it was brought in , so i put these on to roll it around . I dig it lol

Yeah, what is the engine that came with it? Maybe you could post a bigger pic?

didn't come with an engine . I propped the kick start briggs for the pic , I do have a later briggs i may use,

well came across this 1965 continental military generator engine .has never been ran the previous owner was building a ultralight . or some type of flying machine . set the engine in the cart seems to be a decent fit anyway here is a couple of pics , looking forward to your comments
