Briggs 5 horse and band brake issues.

Does anyone know how to use a band brake with a briggs 5 hp? I checked online and found a video that said the band brake will fit the bolt pattern on a briggs 3.5 horse but not a 5 horse. It said I would need a bracket of some sort. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it? Any help would be great...thanks.

I've done several brackets for clutch brakes....

Hopefully these pics will work. Might be too far away. This is what I have. There is a bolt hole where I think the upper brake bolt would go. Do I just need a bolt for that or do I need the bracket? Thanks.
