Briggs coil differences

I have two coils here for the Briggs 5HP engines. Both are supposed to be armature coils, meaning no points needed. One has a metal leg to sense the magnet and the other does not. Can someone help me understand why? I was told that the coil without the metal leg is the hotter coil for the later Raptors, but without part numbers on them, I have no clue! The coil with the metal leg is red on the side. Please help me!

Boy, I'm not sure but the one without the leg or button on the bottom looks like Oregon and the other looks original Briggs. Maybe the Oregon has more windings to sense inductance at a greater distance. Don't take anything I say as fact.

I know the one on the right is for a 5hp, but the mounting holes on the left one look 3hp and under...
I have not even lined it up yet! Maybe these are for a 3HP engine. I got these from a Jr. Drag guy. Claimed they were Briggs part 555075, which is the Raptor coil, but I cannot find anything definite or confirming!

All it has is the markings for the "this side out" and "cylinder side" plus the B&S logo and the number 30. On the bottom it has a stamp that is "08 13" that is heat stamped in.
It has the same spacing as a Briggs 5HP, so I know its not a 3HP coil
