I did that with a 5 HP Briggs engine I bought from Flexo but my Son was older. That's the way to see if the mechanical spark is there and a great bonding time from the smiles I see it looks like you might end up with a shop partner.

That's cool. I remember ,I think I was 10 or 11 years old, my father and I assembled a model Wankel engine very similar to your V8.

Thats pretty cool!! It's nice spending time with your dad building stuff. I built one of those with my dad 35 yrs ago. Its a great learning tool and a lot of fun.
Good Job.

That's awesome! Imagine how many things will make sense to him now, as far as the modern combustion engine, and anything else that you teach him. Take advantage of it & teach 'em young, man. Really cool.

THANKS GUYS

HE TURNED NINE TODAY :happybday:

WE BOTH ENJOYED IT.THE THING WAS REALLY KINDA A PAIN IN THE BUTT TO BUILD BUT COOL YOU HAD TO USE EPOXY ON THE CLEAR PARTS CAUSE REGULAR MODEL GLUE IS NOT STRONG ENOUGH AND TURNS IT WHITE

Thats Awesome!! Gotta love that quality time! I built one of those as a kid also and mine operated by battery and would run itself. Does that one?
