Well, I haven't posted any updates on this for quite awhile.
I just want to share, today was the final step in Olivia's journey.
It has been a long year.
Today she had her final surgery and is doing great.
She had a negative PET scan a month or so ago, so no more cancer!
One of my patients has a heart for cancer patients.
He is a Orange Beach Al fireman. The city has a fire truck designated for community support of patients and families.
They also do this. Her ride home from the hospital was in their pink truck!
She has always loved firemen. This made for a perfect closing of this chapter in her life.
For those of you that have supported her and us, a whole hearted thank you.
