My first mini bike- new from Chicago area

Hello all, I'm 45 and just bought my first mini bike. I mean for my son of course. It's a mid 90s complete running Manco thunderbird. All original with the tecumseh 3.5 hp engine. I'm sure it will need some work or at least maintenance. After reading the forums I'm going to put a band clutch brake on it. Never wanted one with a scrub brake but for $175 I couldn't pass it up. I'll post pics and questions in the near future.

Hey sra1911, welcome to OldMiniBikes! I'm sure your second and third minibikes will be setup just how you like....if the Chicago PD don't catch you first and kick the living shit out of you and steal your minibike!:scared:
