Will honda clone parts work with the new predator motors? I noticed they were in different categories on the website and that predator parts are more expensive.

Most parts from a 196cc won't work on a Predator.

On the Predator:

• cams have larger journals (rules out side cover swaps aswell)
• flywheels are a different taper
• pistons are bigger
• lifters are bigger
• rods are bored bigger on the big end
• head uses a different valve cover and larger dowel pins

Was curious does anyone carry stock Predator parts? My Dad needs an air filter cover and something else(clip? forgot) having to do with the air filter cover.An exhaust pipe fell on it.

I know the hole one the exhausts are wider than others. Are there any exhausts that fit?

Exhaust studs on Predator are not spaced same. I think they are closer together. And push rods are shorter on predator. But this was about a broken exhaust? What the hell happened?

I am pretty ure the Predator bolt pattern is a little wider, I just used a die grinder and opened up the holes a little bit on mine.

I couldn't remember if it was wider or narrow because I'm Abdulla the Butcher and ran a drill bit thru all my header bolt holes. Maybe I should ask Santa for a dremel. :laugh:

The spacing isn't that much different that you can't slightly tap the exhaust on or oval the slots with a die grinder.

I'll have to check that one out. I have some parts Predators laying around. The gas well/mining industry is hard on them.
