Predator kill switch

Which one of these wires do I come off of/cut/splice to get a kill switch up on the handle bars? Thank you for any help.

See the wre that comes out the bottom of the switch. Take that out off the connector it goes to and hook it to kill switch.

Karen its one black wire coming out of the blower housing...just unplug it from the original switch.

Thank you. Now I just need to find another 4 feet of wire to get to the handle bars.:laugh:

No no no , cut the bottom wire off the switch , add your kill switch wire a ND connect altogether , that way either switch will work !

Yea but that gets confusing sometimes to me....when I cut off the bottom switch and forget about it.... and try to start it for a hour ! :laugh:

You couldn't believe how many times I couldn't get a bike started and then realized I didn't turn the switch on.:laugh:

I do believe if I use this wire connector, both kill switches should work.

Why not wire inline to ground a momentary push button switch, to the low oil sensor relay(little gold box) after you have unpluged it(from the sensor in the block).
No cutting, splicing ect...... It will stop just with a tap and will stop dead no sputtering.
To me sounds easier.....

This is the way to go and what we did on both of our Predators. Leave the OEM switch OPERABLE on the engine as that way you have an (easy) way to shut the engine off if you are working on it when it is off the bike.

Thanks everybody. I just used the clip on the bottom wire and both switches work. Works like a champ.:thumbsup:

Those bloody things are the bane of every automotive mechanics existence and job security so they have to like them at the same time.
