Just picked this up and I am not sure what it is. I can post more pics if needed.

Briggs Flathead Engine...maybe a 5hp , but some numbers would help.

I looked all over for some markings and couldn't find any. Where should I look?

Looks like a Briggs 4 or 5 horse, there should be small numbers stamped into the recoil shroud on the back/carb side, hopefully the cover is origional to the engine...................Tom.

definitely a briggs 5hp or 4 but some serial numbers would help
