Throttle, cable and linkage question

Hi I can't seem to hook up my throttle cable to the carb. linkage and i cut some of the cable and now it frayed. I would like to know what I do with my throttle cable in order to to hook up to my carb. linkage. I don't know where the throttle cable goes.

What engine you using?........Sometimes you can twist the cable end and make it work, if it's too frayed you may end up having to get another cable...................Tom.

Hi Tom,

Thank you for responding. The engine is Tecumseh (don't know if that is correct spelling). I am writing this for my boyfriend. The minibike is in Virginia and I am in New York. Bike is not in front of me but I can ask him any additional questions you may have
