I have heard about using the GX200 valve springs along with the stock springs on the GX340/390 and Predator 420cc engines but has any one actually done it? If so how did it work? I have the head off my Predator 420cc and thought about it while the head was off.
How much force are you looking for? I know you can get some 55lb springs, and even 65lb springs for around $10. The stock GX200 springs are only around 10lbs, I think. Do you stick the gx200 springs inside the 390/420 springs (like a dual spring)?

I think stock is 28-30 lbs. I read about the gx200 springs inside the stock gx390. 10 bucks for aftermarket 55 lbs ain't bad, I am thinking about hopping it up mildly.
