Does anyone know of somewhere (shop or fellow mini biker) in Southern California that can straighten out a front fork? Any "at home" methods that dont require a large press?
My original Jackshaft assembly was the one part of my bike that I always looked at with regret. It really was a bad design and was 'flexy', which caused my chain to throw a couple times. It didn't take long before some torque was applied to the wheels and the mounts bent. I was actually glad...
Got a scat bat frame on cl the other day and just noticed the bars are bent to the side . I was thinking of beating it with a rubber mallot with the forks positioned like in the pic any better way of fixing my forks? Don't have a lot of tools like a press, anvil etc. Any tips , I am also...

Not horrible, just one side upper tube is tweaked.. Its not allowing the lower to ride smooth or go up as far as it should.
Its a good 3/8's-1/2" off at the fender mounts.
Seems like I found a thread eons ago about straightening...
Hey guys I bought a 77' CT70 and it has a bent flywheel. Previous owner pulled it with the wrong puller. Magnet catches on part of the magneto. Just wondering if a shop could bent and straighten it back out and if thats possible.
Ok so I'm fixing up a 1970 Fox Sundowner and my rim is bent. When mounted it rolls unevenly. I can't find any replacements online(found one the guy wanted $75). Is there any way I could unbend the rim and fix it??
Very dumb question, but how would you bend this plate back into shape? I am wanting to order an adjustable mounting plate and want it to sit flush.

We recently bought a colman ct200 and have been having great fun with it. Unfortunately we let an inexperienced rider give it a try and they promptly ran it into a large bolder in the yard. Fortunately they were not hurt (only doing 5 MPH) but the front fork is now bent back several inches...

I flipped my Rupp over tonight to inspect the frame, and it looks like the front supporting tube is bent:
Is this bad? Or, maybe a better question is, how bad is it?
I just dragged home my newest edition to the family, a 1974 Honda Trail CT70 I had when I was a kid. This was collecting dust in my dad's garage for the last 30 years. Not bad shape for wiping it off with a rag and throwing some air in the tires.
I was about to order some new handlebars for...
