I'm going to replace my brake lever and cable assembly. I need a cable housing about 50" long. All I'm finding are longer, with each end having metal cap. Can I cut off the end down at the wheel to the length I need ? It looks like it goes into a socket and would be immobilized and covered.
So my bonanza frame has this bracket welded on it , can any one tell me what it is for ?
There is also a front and back picture of a front end I am trying to identify
Thank you for the help Brendan
I have a custom made Predator air intake that I need cut and rewedded 80 degrees from where one end of the pipe it is aiming now. The air intake tubing is about 16-18 gauge in thickness. It is about 10" long.
Anyone here able to do this?
I had a fabrication shop custom cut me some tabs/ears to modify oddly oddly shaped and humped kickstands into flat plate ones. while in reality the shape is irrelevant for fitment (they are actually shaped the way they are due because they were just not pressed into a W hump at the factory back...
The bracket is cut from 14 gauge steel like the original. This would be a nice piece for someone restoring there original cover. I only had a couple of these 14 ga. cut so the cost was high..... PM any questions. Thanks, Nate
1 Bracket $30 shipped in the US
Time to start another build , this is SE Woods Bike , the frame looks very close to a fox campus bike with some subtle changes
It may in fact have origins as a fox and been assembled , labled and distributed in Newmarket Ont. Canada
I have tried many searches on the web and it ends up back...
Those pesky snowblower engines usually have the big hole punched out for the 12V starter :doah: I started building an HS50 to sell and as I am putting it together the big ass hole caught my eye. So I made this cover on the fly this morning, its nothing fancy by any means but it covers the hole...
Dunno much about what it takes to have something like this done and if its gonna be worth it over me just cutting them out myself??
I just bought a box lot of Kickstands, 12 of them have a bracket setup that will not work for mini bike application, and I want to simply cut that part off and...
I have a brand new predator 212 that will start and idle, but as soon as I try to give it gas, it sputters and dies. Won't rev at all. Will just idle. Any ideas?? I can't take it back because I already removed the gas tank and air filter. Cut the wire to the oil sensor switch, and cut off the...
My buddy has been wanting me to chop a bike up for him, so he bought this run of the mill late model Manco streaker off another buddy and told me to give it a "nip and tuck". Just kinda freestyling it, no real set plan other than he wants it as low as it can go.
This is what I got done...
Saw this in the cl ebay forum a while ago. Sat ther, sat there. Yes it's in Maine.... Yes I'm
'M in Maryland. Talked guy(for a fee) to deliver it 4 hours away to my dad...... Motor is off because he had a 5hp on it that I cut out of the deal. It is all otiginal... And will stay that way.
I never thought of this when I had my intake seat cut to go to a 27mm from a 25. seeing that you cut the seat to go bigger do you need to have the bowl cut as well to actually gain from it all or did I gain anything just cutting the valve seat to go to 27mm. with the bowl being the same size I...
I'm looking for a K&S swing arm shaft. May have to have a machinist cut one to length and cut c-clamp grooves. The distance between the jackshaft plates is 7.5". I estimate that with c-clamps and washers, the shaft would need to be 8.5" long.
Previous owner didn't have a clue. Indian or Rupp? Someone spent a lot of time "engineering" that stainless scrub brake assembly and engine lift washers... I wouldn't cut it all off if it worked better. Never mind the wheel in the first pic/getting used to posting pics here. Thanks for...
Well, I picked up this bike free from a friend. It had been hacked and re-welded pretty ferociously.... therefore, nothing left to do but cut and weld.:scared: Ive already cut it back apart and gotten rid of some of the mess, but you get the idea..half of the bubble gum welds just fell apart...

Hey guys and gals I need some advice, I'm building this old EZ Rider for the build off and this is some of the mess I've had to deal with. So this is what the upper frame rails looked like before I cut the welded places out. I 'm still not sure why this was done.
I am looking for a pocket bike style muffler system or at least part of one to try and make something else with. All I really need is the cone shaped expansion area for the most part, so it could be cut up etc... its for something custom
