Not sure if anyone has seen it yet, but they call it a 100 point restoration. What does that mean? I am under that impression that it means that the restoration is flawless with no defects. But if a person doesn't use original parts, can it still be a 100 point restoration? Your thoughts...

Rupp Roadster 2 restoration. Tank fully restored.

Rupp Roadster 2 restoration. The swing arm bushing is pinned/staked, making it difficult to remove the outer bushings. By drilling out the pin stake notch the bushings can be easily removed.

Rupp Roadster 2 restoration. The color looks much darker in the photo than it actually is. It's lighter and pretty close to original and that was the intent.

Rupp Roadster 2 restoration. This HS40 is close to a Rupp Roadster 2, but lacks the longer PTO shaft. All indications are that it will still work on the Rupp even though it has a shorter shaft. It's hard to find a decent HS40 with a working lighting coil!

Have a Roadster and decided to go with a 212 instead of the H4 (piston wall scored). I find the shaft to be about an inch too short for the original belt drive clutch. Anyone come across this before? Is a new clutch the only answer?

So I finally tour into my 1972 Rupp Roadster. I got all the chrome pieces off. My question is do the bearings press out on the front wheel hub? I do not want to tear anything up but they will not come out. Do they only come out one side? Also does the inner hub with the bearings in it remove...

I need some input on how the brake light switch works on a Roadster 2. Does the switch mount to the brake lever on the handlebars or on the brake hub? I found some pics on Ebay of different switches.

Like the title says...I need ONE nice Rupp Roadster chrome headlight bracket with reflector. Looking something with nice chrome (not needing a rechrome), I would consider buying one without the reflector and would consider buying a pair if need be. Thanks, Paul
