Once all of the ideas and "design" work, there will be a bunch of grinding, welding and aligning things. Then, prime, paint and reassemble. Now, I need to drill that new jack shaft for the center bolt, get the TC aligned and and figure out a good, solid way to mount the belt cover. Then, cut off the extra length on the other side.
Thanks for the kind and generous words.

Do I need a side kick stand, or an actual center stand? The foot pegs will probably come from an old dirt bike, with a solid bar under the engine and mounted with a couple if bolts. That way, I won't have to mess up the paint when I decide to move the pegs. Do we need fenders?

Have you given a thought to bending your own handlebars?
For about as long as it takes to sneeze.
I might cut up a shopping cart and weld up some bars, but if I can bend them BEFORE I put them on there, I will most certainly bend them while standing on the pegs and bouncing across a plowed field. That might hurt.

I like center stands just more stable on almost any terrain. I picked up one of these assemblies for my CT70 off ebay for around $75. Has foot pegs, side kickstand, and center stand. It's been great. Paint is a little thin, but it can always be repainted. Could easily be made to bolt to the bottom of any mini bike. I second the fenders for off road riding. Just helps keeps some dirt off the rider and the bike.

You can probably say that about most all mini bike handlebars. I'm confident most of them are not made from chromoly steel.

After looking at that seat and trying to figure out what it was meant to go on, I think it is a rear seat for a Harley, and it would have been mounted on the fender. We are talking about cutting up a trailer fender to fit the seat, welding hinges to the fender and a latch to secure it, then mounting a spare spark plug and a wrench under there, behind the tank. Maybe a small bottle of emergency 2 cycle mix, too.
