I understand that ordering drivetrain parts can be a complex affair that's why I carefully read the discription and ask questions before ordering but on 3 resent orders the parts were just wrong and at that point you need to take pictures send a email to the seller then start a return and be...

Is there a close match to original brake cable available?
Hello Folks,
I am not finding the original carburetor that my hs40 had on it before someone replaced it with a 'bulb' primer model....:doah:
I see all sorts of stuff out there available for hs40's, I just don't know how to determine which would be best for mini bike application.
What is the...
I was too lazy to find the right size wrench to tighten the forks on my students Trail Horse before I painted it and the wrench slipped off and I punched myself in the nose. Stupid!!!
I ordered a set of gaskets for a greyhound HF 6.5 (about 7 year old blue clone greyhound) and found they didn't fit both the side crankcase (see pic) and valve cover (mine has 5 bolts (set for 200cc Honda clone has 4 bolts). The set I ordered was listed as a gasket set for the 196-212 cc engine...
Just checking to make sure I am not making a mistake on my compression. I am wondering if some one else can verify my calculation of my compression is correct. I am using a compression calculator for the math here. I am going to be building a 196 clone motor for a mini bike. I calculated the...

I have a solid fork roper with a dented gas tank for sale, tank is dented but can be fixed or you can replace it. Was a disc brake bike, you can buy a disc that can be modified to fit or bolt on a band brake rotor and use a band. I have the correct wheels with the disc brake mount for the bike...
I heard or read somewhere that a torque converter needs an occasion lubing. IIRC the inside of the brass fitting on the drive shaft, and also the inside of the TC cover.
It said to use a dry molly. I went to a few auto parts stores and no one heard of such a thing.
Does the TC really need...
Can anyone help me by posting a picture of the correct levers that go on a broncco tx-1? I need close up photos and not from a distance, there are plenty of those online lol. Any info is greatly appreciated :)

I just got this cheeftah and I noticed that the fenders seem to be indented on the sides, looks factory but don't know why? Both front and rear are the same way
Just got a used Tecumseh HS40-55388C with Lighting for a Rupp Roadster restoration and have a few basic questions.
What oil did Rupp say to use in this engine?
What oil should I use in it in the Northeast in warmer weather; say 50-95 degrees?
With no gas tank ready for it yet is there a...
The condenser in my HS40 us badly rusted so I wanted to replace it. Visually, it appears that a number 29177 may be correct, but I also have a similar condenser that is about two-thirds the length of the original or the 29177. Two questions:
1) which condenser is correct?
2) does the...
