Briggs 3hp blower housing and recoil that seems to work great. tight spring and goes all the way back in. Housing is in great shape as far as being straight, solid, and no dents. someone did give it a shabby paint job though. $35 shipped

Looking for a descent H50 recoil housing without the holes in it for the fuel line to pass thru. Ideally would want one that uses the phillips head screws to hold the recoil on. Let me know. thanks

Had to fix my db30's starter there are 2 little arms that come out of the center when you pull the rope. One came off somehow. Just had to open the little case pull back the retaining spring clip thing and replace the arm. hope this helps some other newbies like me

Does anyone have a good technique for bending a starter recoil spring? Just as I was going to put it on, it broke on one end. I need to know if I have to temper the steel, does heat help, will it stay in shape, etc.? Thanks.

A buddy of minie just give me a 5 horse with the old style clutch and recoil starter. the engine is in great shape except for the recoil starter and housing they are beyond repair. Can I replace with the newer style starter with the cup.:shrug:
