I have a job at work where I have to put a standard 37 degree flare on some HEAVY duty stainless steel tubing.... .500 OD .065 wall. We bought a couple of hand flaring tools, one costing over $300.... no go. They use a screw in type of male tool, and it stops well short of making a good flare...
I need new bushings for the steer tube on my Boonie Bike. I've been all over the place and can't find a match. Anyone know of a good source?
The book is really vague. It just says 5/8 x 1" bearings. It doesn't give the specific ID and OD.
Finally upgraded my tube bender. This thing makes beautiful bends. Thats a piece of 1" .120 wall DOM bent 180 degrees on a 3" radius. No deformation at all. Time to build a new frame!!
I cannot keep an inner tube from failing in my 4.10 tire for some reason. The tire is new, and smooth inside. The rims are smooth and shiny inside. The rim is split. The inner tube is inserted into the tire and slightly inflated. It fills the tire and is not pinched by the rim halves. I inflate...
i have just ordered a nice set of kenda super pocket bike tires (13x6.5-6) street tread, for my old style doodlebug because i am sick and tired of ripping knobbies off riding on the road.. but it never occured to me while i was placing the order that the new tires may require tubes. since i am...
I got a two tire that I need to put on, but I obivisly tried but failed and got fustrated. How could I put them on with out machines only by hand cause if I get some tool Ill use it once and never use it again and it will take up room. Please help before I explode:censure: lol
Youtube is a vast wonderland of people doing smart things or dumb things it seems.. but there are some gems! Post the ones that you like or you just gotta show someone!!!!
~=~=~= Let's try to keep in mind a lot of people pass through and the people that stay are a range of ages. If it's...
Options on a 3.5 briggs with pulsa jet.
What size copper line to replace the breather tube that runs from the valve spring area to the carb?
Other options? Dont really like sucking hot air into the carb!
Ie. Plugs,,,, breather filter....
This is my first mini bike project. I have a Nova frame (as identified by the list, thanks guys) with a munged on steerer. It is shorter than the distance between the fork mount and they filled the void with springs (not a bad idea, just bad execution). It has bearings tacked in the steerer tube...
I Have a different carb on my 3.5 briggs
The tube that goes from the breather to the carb can I relocate the tube other than the carb.
Like run it from the breather to the bottom of the block not in the block just at the bottom???.
Thanks,
FRANK
I searched, briefly I admit, but can't find what I'm looking for. There is a manufacturer who made large wheels about 12" with round "rods" as spokes. I can't remember the manufacturer. Thanks for any leads.
OK, stupid question,
does anyone know how much airflow does the breather tube need? Will it hamper performance to use a longer, tube with a smaller diameter?
My friend and I have had this frame for years, but can never find out what it is. I think it's even been posted here before. The frame is made out of 1" square tubing with gussets welded at the corners, axle mount, etc. The rear axle uses pillow blocks to mount it to the frame which seems...
While I know that they don't need a innertube, what size would I use? I'm thinking the wheel is bent or something as the new tire won't hold air for past 1 week. I know the tire is 19X7-8, but would a 18X7-8 or a 20X7-8 work?
Thanks,
KingPaul
I believe that this may only apply to the California HF clones with the unvented gas tank caps and extra emissions junk...
I know the purpose of the breather/vent tube and not to plug it if disconecting it for any air filter mods. My question is this: I am assuming that there is an inline...
