Best accelerating camshaft? (high rpm, high torque)

Isky is very unreliable when it comes to delivery on large orders. Did you try him direct or just OldMiniBikes? I believe Studz is a dealer as well.

They were out of stock to begin with.
i stated in my thread prior to the posts saying "black mamba" that i couldnt find it anywhere or i wouldve bought one and never made this post.

Now i was told by an OldMiniBikes rep to come here because "friendly" members would "help me" out and i still dont have my answer. and i still havent had contact with the cam specialist that i was TOLD via OldMiniBikes instant message chat i would be in contact. i will not be representing OldMiniBikes to anyone unless they know exactly what they want to get.

So i have this .276lift 239duration 109LSA camshaft here:

and im debating on keeping it and just stiffening springs up some.(i only looked at it visually to compare camshafts.)
Keeping it maybe depends on if this company i applied for says that i got the job(which will find out later today).

EDIT:(adding to post) : and i want to see how a guy on another forum does with an f275 cam does with his clutch and 26pound springs. IF i dont return it before then.

Best of luck. I still try to help out with tech even though I don't work there any longer. I heard what you want your engine/kart to do, I just think you're going about it wrong. Hope they work out for you...

GOSH! I don't understand why I cannot have diesel truck torque down low and high rpm horsepower!

Is that why new cars have variable valve timing? Can we do that for a Predator engine? That would be bad ass! That way I can have everything I need in just a cam swap!
High RPM and high torque are not synonymous

Ummm, a bigger cam fixes everything. Duh!

Already out there.

OldMiniBikes warehouse even sells them.
Yep, mentioned a couple pages back by you as well as the lower duration CS cam. CS cam is what's in my motor and it's a nice improvement, but it also liked a bigger carb in my case. GX270 carb to be exact on a heavy full suspension yard kart.

i was afraid i would need to explain further.
hmmm.. but i really need to know quick before the camshaft i just bought ships.

I'm just looking for a quick and responsive camshaft with stock 8.5 compression, something with almost too much torque that i will have to easily throttle into. other things i will worry about later if needed.

The normal Billet parts and governor removal are taken care of already, thanks.
Black Mamba Jr. cam. Available at STORE

Yuup. Don't believe what the user "smallenginecams" has to say! Poor guy...was born with a camshaft in his hand, then he was given this odd name Iskendarian, which his friends shortened to "Isky"....guy doesn't know anything about any of this!

OR...one of the brightest minds in the aftermarket industry, that has a focus on small engine cams, has forgotten more than all of us here know, and is a good guy....born into to a winning tradition of high quality camshafts and continues to pioneer the advancement of small engines! Tim is a good guy, just very busy!

Met Tim once. Very gracious guy. I don't work for him...I don't even have any of his camshafts...I just know what I can see!

Xbrent92 needs a bit more education but he might know it all 275. I'd listen to Tim Isky or MDB if they gave me advice.
