Good luck with the build Yoop, you always seem to find and build the coolest things. I'll be watching because I'd love to build a track bike some day and I want to see how you set up the gearing.
had to do a snow bike. 8hp tec off the snowblower.going to remove the shaft on the front drive bogies and put the diff in there.than put a jackshaft and maybe a tav.
front will have 2 ski's and some sort of a setup like a kart with spindles and tie rods
the rear i'm thinking will have a 4 shock setup so the tracks can articulate
going to have to play around with the gearing when i get that far.not trying to build a speed demon.doubt the plastic drivers and idler wheels would hold up.still got to make a parts list.the ski's are on there way here now.
yoop what about using snowmobile idler wheels instead? they have bearings in them. but u def need some type of support for those tracks when sitting down u dont want a ton of weight sitting on them.
