chain

It appears that the typical mini bike uses #35 chain and sprockets but is limited on the sprocket size. I don't see them being less than 60 teeth. Clutch sprockets are like 12, 13 teeth etc. This seems to practical for most 3.5 HP engines. Would that be a reason to go with a #40 / 41...

The local place is selling it for about $1 per foot. It comes in a 10' roll. Is this stuff any good? I'm not racing. I just need some chain to finish up a couple projects.

I've trying to finish 3 of my 4 bikes, everything is done with the exception of the chain. I've got everything measured. But the chains keep getting thrown. I think it is an alignment issue, does anyone have any tips and tricks on getting chains to sit right??
