pickd up a used 6.5 clone this week. Has no spark. Disconnected switch and low oil sensor. It has oil in it. Still no spark. I took the coil off. Is there a way to test the coil? Thanks.

I came across what looks to be a modified Super Bronc VT-8. The first step is to get it running but no spark. What's the best way to determine why there is no spark? I'm not much of a small engine guy and have never seen a magneto like this.

I've bought several tires in the past that people swore had no cracks/ weather checking, just to get them and take one look to find out that they are junk. When pull starting, How consistent should the spark be ? mine seems to be intermittent, even if I pull really hard. I've read about blue spark being better than yellow spark. But I'm just wondering if anyone could say how quickly it should be arcing. Thanks if anyone can answer this.
